Baltimore City Public Schools
From June 29 through August 21, City Schools has partnered with 18 schools across the city to serve as distribution sites for grab-n-go meals, produce and grocery boxes, academic materials, and other key resources for our communities! In coming weeks, sites will be distributing summer learning challenges from the Pratt, personal hygiene products from Colgate, book bundles for K-8 scholars from the Parent's Choice Foundation, and much more!

Amazon Grocery Delivery
Baltimore City is partnering with Amazon to deliver grocery boxes to residents who:
Adults 60 and older: call 410-396-2273, and residents 59 and younger: call 2-1-1.
- Can’t leave home because they’re at increased medical risk, sick or in quarantine
- Don’t have family, friends or neighbors who can get food for them
- Don’t receive food delivery through other programs
- Can’t afford paid meal or grocery delivery
- Have somebody at home who is able to prepare meal

Baltimore City and its partners are providing free grab-n-go meals for youth and families at 100 sites across the city. The city is also distributing 30-lb. grocery boxes and 24-lb. produce boxes. Click here for a full list of sites and more information.
During the summer, sidewalk grab-and-go grocery boxes will be available at some meal sites and schools on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE)
Providing summer meals to students impacted by the statewide closure of schools. MSDE has hundreds of meal distribution centers across the state, which can be found at mdsummerschools.org.
Maryland Access Point
Older adults who participate in Eating Together in Baltimore should reserve a meal through their Eating Together Site and should call Maryland Access Point at 410-396-2273 for their pickup time. Older adults who are not Eating Together Participants but need meals should also contact Maryland Access Point.
SNAP
You may qualify to receive SNAP Benefits. Residents can apply for SNAP benefits online at mydhrbenefits.dhr.state.md.us. Residents may also call the DHS Call Center at 1-800-332-6347 (TTY 1-800-735-2258), available from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. To determine eligibility for SNAP, click here.
For additional assistance applying for SNAP, you can call Maryland Hunger Solutions at 1-866-821-5552.
P-EBT
All students in Baltimore City Public Schools are eligible for up to $370.50 in extra food benefits due to school closures. These benefits, called Pandemic-EBT, or P-EBT, are intended to help families in Maryland purchase food while schools are closed. Please make sure your address is correct in Infinite Campus. To update your contact information, please send an email with two proofs of address, a picture ID, contact information, student's name and school. Food for Thought Book Distribution
Through a partnership with Houghton Mifflin and the Parents Choice Foundation, City Schools is distributing books to families with students in kindergarten to grade 8 at meal sites. Please see the flyer for additional details.
