Baltimore County Government and the CASH Campaign of Maryland, which promotes creating assets and savings through programs that offer economic advancement, are now offering benefits screening and support services via phone and by appointment.
Baltimore County 311 is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Callers to BaltCo 311 will be screened and referred to CASH Campaign to connect with their trained case managers to gather the information required to access their eligibility for over 20 local, state and federal benefits including, but not limited to:
Maryland Department of Human Services (DHS)
Despite the Maryland DHS building being closed due to COVID-19, Marylanders can get information, apply for DHS programs and services, and check the status of applications online at mydhrbenefits.dhr.state.md.us/dashboardClient/#/home. Services include emergency food assistance, cash assistance, SNAP food benefits, child support services, and home energy assistance, among others.
Residents may also call the DHS Call Center at 1-800-332-6347 (TTY 1-800-735-2258), available from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Medical Assistance and health insurance applications may be submitted at www.marylandhealthconnection.gov
